To the worst a rippling of 30 V on input becomes 0,2 V on output, to know 150 times less (attenuation of 45 dB)  

The attenuation goes from 150 to 300 (- 50 dB) according to the output current, which is equivalent to a self of almost 200 Henry

- In addition to its filter role the circuit also provides a progressive ascent fonction (soft-start) of the high voltage, it takes almost 15 seconds for the output voltage goes from 0 to + 300 Volts. This prevents electric shock on tubes electrodes and allows to balance circuits smoothly and quietly.

- Circuit that can also be configurated in voltage source of any value by placing a zener diode, this application is described in the instructions

- A double protection against overloads is provided with a limiter reversal electronic current circuit (foldback) + a fuse of 500 mA, it is nethertheless desirable to avoid output short-circuit

- With the radiator on the chart it's better to exceed250 mA to avoid excessive overheating of the power transistor but this current can reach 450 mA by placing this transistor on an external radiator with larger dimensions or directly on the frame. The connecting outputs are provided on the chart and one insulating barrel + one beryllium oxide insulating are provided with the module to allow the transistor installation.
